If you’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, then you’ll enjoy these photos by CamaroSix, which feature a fleet of sixth-gen Camaros fresh off the Lansing Grand River Plant assembly line. We want to say they’re ready for delivery, but they still could just as well be Captured Test Fleet vehicles.
With a gorgeous redesign, lustful specs, and the switch to the more nimble Alpha Platform, we anticipate the all-new Camaro to be a big success. Plus, you know, it’s the Camaro we’re talking about here.
As we ‘ooh-ed’ and ‘aah-ed’ at the photos, we couldn’t help but rethink some of our recent topics about the Camaro. For instance, should there be an AWD option? Is our assessment of the new Camaro accurate, or were we just star stuck? Of course not. Brace yourself world, the all-new Camaro is almost here.

Looks like they’re running out of parking spaces there. I’m always here to help out Chevrolet I’ll take one off their hands. Come on guys anybody Else want to help Chevy get back some parking spaces. if you want to help just hit the thumbs up.
I’d say they’re test fleet vehicles because they don’t have the shipping wrap on them, unless GM is cutting down on that.
Living in the city that is producing the new Camaro , I can tell you our community is exited that GM chose Lansing GR to build them . Driving North on Martin Luther King Blvd. ( Logan Street ) almost everyone is getting a goose neck looking down at the lot where they are parked . It’s the old lot that used to be filled with Oldsmobiles .
These first cars will go to the engineers and management to tool around in grading the fit and finish and looking for squeeks and rattles . The “newbies” that are building these actually went to school learning the new manufacturing processes . You could see the enthusiasm in these folks faces learning the new techniques that it takes to assemble the cars . Most of them have never worked in an assembly plant before . They worked along side the seniority people forming teams in all the departments .
I may be blowing my own horn here , but we all can’t wait to get up to speed and start selling these awesome Camaros . Local 652 has some of the best people around and they care about what they do . And it will show in the production models for sale .
GM has already stated 2016 Camaro production will begin in Q4, which begins in October. These are CTF vehicles: no stickers and no shipping wrap.
