We’ve seen our fair share, well, more than our fair share of nasty C7 Corvette builds in the U.S. From minor horsepower increases, all the way up to 1,000 hp plus builds, there’s been a tune for everybody this side of the pond.
But, the Germans have had a go with the 2015 C7 Corvette Z06, specifically by the guys at Geiger Performance.
After parsing through the information, it seems the guys at Geiger Performance have so far squeezed an extra 71 hp and 63 lb-ft of torque from the LT4 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine. Figures have risen to 730 hp and 696 lb-ft of torque, not too shabby for a first go. And, knowing Geiger, there will be bigger and better things.
Geiger is also offering an aerodynamics package for the 2015 C7 Z06, consisting of a carbon-fiber front lip, side skirts, rear-diffuser and spoiler, also all carbon-fiber.
It seems those residing in the Old World have a formidable tuner to head to should they purchase a Z06 over a 911.
