Watch A C6 Corvette Z06 Tackle A Hillclimb Event: Video

When one thinks of hillclimb events, thoughts of dirty Subarus, Mitsubishis and other iconic rally machines flood into the mind. Not so much a C6 Corvette Z06. But, here we have one C6 Z06 doing just that.
Courtesy of Krider Racing, we have footage from the Hoopa Hillclimb event, part of a local California car club, Redwood Sports Car Club. We see some of the opponents the C6 Z06 faces are nimbler, and should have an easier time coping with no guardrails and 22 corners up the hill.
But, the Corvette Z06 takes it in strides, as the driver gives it all he’s got with the 505 hp ready to jaunt him up the straighter sections of the hill. Great skill and finesse are required to master driving in events like these. Tip of the hat, sir, for not wrecking the Corvette, like many novice drivers most likely would.
