We’ll echo what Hot Rod states immediately: comparison tests are great, but are true, die-hard enthusiasts really cross shopping a C7 Corvette Z06 with a Nissan GT-R Nismo? Probably not. Therefore, they have the comparison test to solve everything.
They rounded up the ends of each spectrum from Chevrolet, plus, a few aftermarket alternatives. From the factory, we have the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 and the C7 Corvette Z06. From the aftermarket, we have the Callaway Corvette Stingray and the Lingenfelter supercharged Camaro 1LE.
So, who wins? Everybody.
We’ll save the driving impressions for the writeup, but we will say it’s an excellent conclusion. Between the track-readiness of the Camaro Z/28, the extra oomph from the Callaway Stingray and the bonkers power from the C7 Corvette Z06, there’s something to love for everybody, no matter your driving style and characteristics. None of these cars beat each other out (well, maybe in the specs department…) but the conclusion is clear: you simply can’t go wrong with any of these vehicles.
We’d have no problem finding room in our pseudo garages for each of these cars.
