By comparison, the Driver Alert Package on the 2015 Silverado carried free-flow RPO Y65 and offers the following items:

What is active safety lane keep assist as contrasted to lane departure warning. What additionally does it do?
Also any mention of the availability of blind-side alert, a very valuable safety feature that GM has not utilized across the product line? That is without charging a fortune for it in a package!
Lane keep assist is when you drift out of your lane over I think 35 mph the sterring will move you back into your lane. I really wish it worked under 35mph. Lane departure warning just beeps if you go out of the lane. I don’t think the blind spot alert is offered. Silly I know because that’s my favorite safety system. They should have offered automatic breaking too. But from what GM has done in the past is they will add very few features to refreshes and the features people want the most, they leave out.
I agree with you. Ford F150 has adaptive cruise, 360 degree camera and trailer connect backup and line up feature. All of these features were available in on the 2015 Ford F150. GM adds options like lane keep assist but not adaptive cruise on their full size trucks. GM just keeps hiking the prices and add their bits and pieces; and when they do come out with a new model they will put all of these features on it. I drive an Impala (2015) and it has all these features with Adaptive Cruise and it is a great option.
Will adding a lift kit, or a leveling kit affect the functionality of the lane keep assist and forward collision warning system?
