You gotta have one fast car to try and take on a sports bike, and that’s exactly what this Chevrolet C6 Corvette ZR1 is – fast. It also has the one of the gnarliest snarls we’ve ever heard from a Corvette, and we absolutely love it.
The black on black look ads to the overall ‘tough’ demeanor of the C6 Corvette, but even if this thing was bright pink we’d still be fans. From a dig, the Zr1 beats the street bike with a time of 10.721 and traps a higher speed at 144.69.  We’re not entirely sure of the outcome when they race from a roll, but according to the video description it doesn’t look like the ZR1 pulled off another victory.
Thanks to the ZR1 driver’s very slow shifting, we get hear some sweet exhaust back-pressure release during the video. We’d say the video is still very fun to watch, though we’d like to see what this Corvette could do with a professional driver behind the wheel.

The bike rider is not exactly a pro either. That’s a Ninja ZX 14r and your grandma could do 10.8 on that monster while knitting you a sweater. Put Rickey Gadson on it and it’ll do mid 9s completely stock. Pro vs pro, that ZR1 wouldn’t stand a chance.
