Joe Rogan Drops By Jay Leno’s Garage In His Custom 1965 Chevrolet Corvette

A few weeks ago Joe Rogan teased Chevrolet fans everywhere with a few snaps of his newly completed, highly customized 1965 Corvette. Finished in a dazzling shade of silver with a stunning set of Center Line ‘Auto Drag’ wheels, we could hardly wait to learn more about his striking restomod. Finally, the time has come.

Rogan recently stopped by Jay Leno’s Big Dog Garage in Burbank, California, to let the white-haired comedian behind the wheel of his C2 and, as usual, the ex-Tonight Show host doesn’t disappoint.

While there are lots tasty car facts and to chew on and digest, it’s great to see two comedians/gearheads shoot the breeze and have fun discussing their passion for both cars and comedy.

As Rogan explains, he originally bought the restomod 1965 Corvette from someone else who had treated it to their own set of parts and modifications. Eager to make it his own, Rogan got in touch with Steve Strope from Pure Vision and they slowly began to transform it into what you see today.

We won’t spoil the fun here, so check out the full 30-minute episode above to see how it all came together.

A far-too-tall Ontarian who likes to focus on the business end of the auto industry, in part because he's too tall to safely swap cogs in a Corvette Stingray.
