Here’s A Look At The Superlite SLC Coupe Powered By An LS9: Video

A custom supercar powered by a supercharged 6.2 LS9 V8 sounds like a very potent recipe for white-knuckle thrills. And of course, it exists. It’s called the Superlite SLC Coupe and that monstrously powerful LS9 is matted to a Porsche transaxle. To make things even better, this performance marvel is road legal.

The Superlite Coupe is painted in Synergy Green, the same green you’ll find on some very limited-run fifth-gen Chevrolet Camaro. While it isn’t a production sports car, the Superlite does in fact look pretty good. We really liked the flat black with the metallic green color combo. But the highlight for us would be that gorgeous rear end, we really enjoy its open-diffuser look.

With 325-wide tires on the back and powerful Brembo brakes, we expect this one-seater rocket to have at least some hope of traction and confident stopping power. Sure, it’s no Corvette ZR1, but we really don’t have anything bad to say about it. In fact, we’d love to drive it.

Take a look at it for yourself in the video below, and be sure to comment on your thoughts in the designated section below.

  1. Can you make one if I order? If so, how much will it cost?
