GM Foundation Makes Charitable Donation To The Bowling Green Community

GM recently made contributions to the Bowling Green community in an effort to give back to the area that produces the mighty Corvette. Thanks to the GM Foundation a check for $75,000 was written to 11 Bowling Green Area Charities, along with 5 service projects taken up by employees from GM plants throughout the nation.

Some of the employees find this act of generosity to be the highlight of their everyday jobs.

“It’s the best part of my job and the GM people are so generous. They give their money, they give their time, in fact we had 80 GM employees from across the country here in Bowling Green giving their service today,” said Nora Roper, a Bowling Green Assembly assistant manager in an interview with local news outlet WBKO.

Kudos to the General and its noble gesture.
