Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers in Mexico delivered 21,528 vehicles in June 2015. The results represent a market share of 19.6 percent.
The Chevrolet, Buick and Cadillac brands grew at a rate of over 40 percent compared to the same period last year, according to Francisco Garza, GM Mexico Vice President of Sales, Service, and marketing.
July 2015 highlights (vs. July 2014, except as noted):
Chevrolet
- Chevrolet Matiz was up 32 percent
- Chevrolet Spark was up 29 percent
- Chevrolet Aveo was up 53 percent, and remains the market’s best-selling vehicle
- Chevrolet Sonic was up 170 percent
- Chevrolet Sonic RS was up 39 percent
- Chevrolet Cruze was up 53 percent
- Chevrolet Camaro was up 25 percent
- Chevrolet Corvette was up 13 percent
- Chevrolet Tornado was up 13 percent
- Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was up 170 percent
- Chevrolet Trax was up 98 percent
- Chevrolet Traverse was up 87 percent
- Chevrolet Suburban was up 32 percent
Buick-GMC
- Buick Regal was up 120 percent
- Buick Lacrosse was up 500 percent
- Buick Encore was up 42 percent
- Buick Enclave was up 88 percent
- GMC Sierra was up 24 percent
- GMC Terrain was up 8 percent
- GMC Acadia was up 30 percent
- GMC Yukon was up 11 percent
Cadilac
- Cadillac ATS was up 150 percent
- Cadillac SRX was up 121 percent
- Cadillac Escalade was up 172 percent
