D3Cadillac Is Selling A Super CTS-V

A mere two races remain in the 2015 Cadillac Challenge season, but those looking for a turn-key racer still have a chance to experience the action with this D3-tuned 2013 Cadillac CTS-V for sale on the company’s website.

The $89,000 asking price might seem a bit steep (then again, that’s just a little more than the starting MSRP for a new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V), but a glance at the options sheet shows D3 has fettled extensively with this Silver Frost White Coupe, fitting aero, performance, brake, suspension and even wheel enhancements along the way.

The body has been showered in D3 parts, including a D3 two-piece front spoiler add-on, brake cooling inlet w/LED lighting, two-piece rear diffuser, the D3 Noir Package (with brightwork removed), and vinyl race striping in gloss black w/Bahama Blue Vinyl pin striping, which can be removed on request.

Elsewhere, the supercharged 6.2L LSA V8 has been mildly breathed upon thanks to a new D3 air intake, a D3 9.5″ crank pulley kit for LSA, 82 lb fuel injectors, D3 ultracooler front mounted intercooler, Magnusson intercooler reservoir, and MSD spark plug wires with NGK TR6 plugs. It’s also sure to howl down the straights thanks to Stainlessworks 2″ Primary w/3″ Off road lead pipes and a Corsa sport exhaust.

With all that, chances are good it now kicks out well-more than the 556 hp it was originally endowed with.

Of course, a D3-tune wouldn’t be complete with out a new set of shoes and the V now rolls on Modulare M15 three-piece forged 20×9.0″ wheels wrapped in Pirelli PZero Nero 255/35/20’s tires, while larger M15 20×11″ wheels wrapped with Nero 305/30/20’s sit out back.

The whole car sits on a KW Variant 3 coil over system and CNC machine slotted Brembo rotors front and back provide stopping power.

Thankfully, it’s also unmolested and has just 9,000 miles under its belt.

It’s definitely not the cheapest turn-key racer available, but this D3-tuned CTS-V provides a compelling argument for wheel-heeled racers looking for some harmless fun. Ready to make an offer? Have a look at the listing here.
