The Chevrolet LUV is an interesting piece of the Chevrolet truck history. Merely rebadged Isuzu trucks, the vehicle took on the LUV (Light Utility Vehicle) name in the U.S. until its replacement, the Chevrolet S10, graced the market.
Still, the Chevy LUV has a cult following for custom builds, and this particular LUV is no different.
Hailing from Anchorage, Alaska, the seller has posted the Chevrolet for sale on Craigslist with plenty of custom work done. Foremost, the rear bed has been deleted and replaced with a custom-built aluminum bed, and a 406 cubic-inch small-block V8 sits under the hood to create 525 hp. Good thing the rear end has been built up with a 12-bolt truck end and 3:73 gears to handle that power.
The seller says over $25,000 has been invested in the Chevrolet LUV but, is only asking $12,500 because there are too many toys at his disposal. Not the worst problem to have.
