Cadillac Announces Men’s Capsule Clothing Collection In Collaboration With Nick Wooster

Cadillac’s move to New York City has brought with it plenty of chances to express itself. And it has done so, especially within the fashion arena.
So far this year, Cadillac has shimmered at the New York Fashion Week, and has landed a multi-season sponsorship with the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Capping it off is the introduction of the Cadillac Capsule collection of men’s fashion.
The fashion line has been curated by renowned designer Nick Wooster, who is also based in New York City. Cadillac says 15 looks will be available, all chosen as styled by Wooster for the Fall and Winter season, available exclusively on Gilt (glit.com).
“We look forward to bringing the groundbreaking designs of the designers of New York Men’s Day to a greater audience in partnership with Nick Wooster and Gilt,” said Melody Lee, director of Cadillac Brand Strategy & Planning.
“Getting dressed is a form of self-expression, and today, men are more attuned than ever to the possibilities in front of them,” Wooster said. “My approach to curating this collection with Cadillac was to show a spectrum of ideas that can fit into a variety of lifestyles. We’ve worked with a cross section of some of the most interesting emerging designers to create a collection that is, in my opinion, stylish, appropriate and cool.”
The collection features pieces from Cadet, Carlos Campos, David Hart, Ernest Alexander, Gents, J. Lindeberg, Mark McNairy New Amsterdam, PLAC, and Timo Weiland.
All of Wooster’s looks will debut on September 1st at a kick-off VIP shopping event in New York City. Prices for the looks and individual pieces range from $59, to $2,000. They will become available for sale on September 9th on Gilt.
