Go right for lights, and move over for stopped emergency vehicles. Those are two important driving factors learned at a young age. Unfortunately, the driver of this C3 Corvette failed to yield while an ambulance crossed an intersection, according to local WKBN.
The collision occurred in Boardman, Ohio while the ambulance was crossing through an intersection with its lights and sirens on. The driver of the Corvette claims he did not see the ambulance crossing through the intersection until he had struck the emergency vehicle.
The coupe in the Corvette and the ambulance driver were all taken in a separate ambulance to be treated for minor injuries in Youngstown, Ohio. Local police say the Corvette driver will most likely be cited for the accident.
As with any accident watch report, remember to keep it safe, and stay alert. Especially when behind the wheel of your dream C3 Corvette.
