1969 Chevrolet Corvette C3 ‘KAOSS’ Is Pro Touring Glory With Custom Widebody Kit: Video

Many have long revered the sculpted haunches and rounded fender flares of the Chevrolet Corvette C3, but this 1969 Chevrolet Corvette ‘KAOSS’ with custom widebody kit somehow manages to accentuate those characteristics in all the right places (at least in the opinion of your humble narrator).

Well-crafted widebody kit aside, we aren’t privy to a ton of detail about the KAOSS, like why is it named KAOSS? And, where can we get one?

Hidden beneath its hood extractor sits a 427 ci V8 engine with L92 cylinder heads and a FAST LSx-R intake manifold and power is managed through a custom tune by TORQ. Elsewhere, you’ll find the aforementioned custom widebody kit, while the whole car sits on a stunning set of 360 Forged Concave 5 wheels.

A quick peek at the website listed below the video reveals no sign of the company or the car, so we’re just glad to have a short video of this unique brute to tide us over.

How much power does it put to pavement? Find out in the video below, then tell us what you think about the KAOSS Corvette.

A far-too-tall Ontarian who likes to focus on the business end of the auto industry, in part because he's too tall to safely swap cogs in a Corvette Stingray.

  1. I’m a Corvette Guy…I currently have a Torch Red 2011 Corvette Grand Sport and love it. Its my third RED Corvette in a row. But the C3 Body is my favorite…If Kaoss was red, it might be the perfect Corvette !!
