This Is The 2016 Chevy Camaro Coupe Order Guide

General Motors has just published the official order guide for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe.
The guide doesn’t include any earth-shattering information that we haven’t previously seen on the new sports car, but does offer several items worth mentioning:
- LPO-level 4-piston front brake kit includes Brembo Red brake calipers, slotted rotors and pad upgrade for the Camaro I4 turbo and Camaro V6 models
- LPO-level 6-piston front brake kit includes Brembo Red brake calipers, slotted rotors and pad upgrade for the Camaro SS
- Heavy-Duty Cooling and Brake Package that includes external engine oil cooler, extra capacity cooling system and Brembo 4-piston front performance, 4-wheel antilock, 4-wheel disc brakes. On Camaro Turbo models, the package includes auxiliary engine coolant cooler. The package is only available for the I4 Turbo and V6 Camaros.
- On the 2LT and 2SS trim levels, only the driver-side outside mirror will be auto-dimming, yet both with be heated. Inexplicably, both of GM’s other vehicles on the Alpha-platformed — the Cadillac ATS and third-gen CTS — are also plagued by the same misfortune.
- The Adrenaline Red Interior Accent Trim Package will be available for the 2LT and 2SS trims. It includes Black interior with Adrenaline Red front seat inserts, door inserts and stitching on front seats, doors, steering wheel, shifter and center console.
- The Ceramic White Interior Accent Trim Package will be available for the 2LT and 2SS times. It includes Black interior with Ceramic White front seat inserts, door inserts and stitching on front seats, doors, steering wheel, shifter and center console.
- There will be four LPO-level 20-inch (50.8 cm) 5-spoke wheels available, including:
- 5-split spoke low gloss Black wheels (1LT and 2LT)
- 5-spoke gloss Black wheels with Red outline stripe (1LT and 2LT)
- 5-split spoke low gloss Black wheels (1SS and 2SS)
- 5-spoke gloss Black wheels with Red outline stripe (1SS and 2SS)
- The Camaro SS will offer three wheel options:
- 20″ x 8.5″ (50.8 cm x 21.6 cm) front and 20″ x 9.5″ (50.8 cm x 24.1 cm) rear 5-split spoke premium Gray-painted machined-face aluminum (1SS and 2SS)
- 20″ x 8.5″ (50.8 cm x 21.6 cm) front and 20″ x 9.5″ (50.8 cm x 24.1 cm) rear 5-spilt spoke bright Silver-painted aluminum (1SS and 2SS)
- 20″ x 8.5″ (50.8 cm x 21.6 cm) front and 20″ x 9.5″ (50.8 cm x 24.1 cm) rear 5-spoke low gloss Black aluminum (2SS only)
- The RS package includes 20″ 5-split spoke premium Gray-painted, machined-face aluminum wheels, high intensity discharge headlamps, LED taillamps, RS-specific grilles and decklid-mounted lip spoiler
We expect the order guide for the 2016 Camaro Convertible to be mostly similar to that of the coupe, with the exception of several convertible-specific features.

Looks pretty good. Lots to pick from for the higher up trims. Me and my personal tastes I’d just do the 2LT and add a few goodies maybe. 🙂
Looks like Kinetic Blue is a lock, but getting a small reblend or name change as Hyper Blue Metallic (GB0).
Fine by me, just makes anything painted in Kinetic more valuable.
Let me know when incentives land – it’s either this or a VF Series II SS.

Is the garnet red tint coat G 7 E a metallic paint ?
No, Garnet Red Tintcoat is not a metallic paint. All 5 of the metallic paints are noted as such in the color descriptions on page 31 of the order form
