What started off as an intention to simply increase power has led to the incredible and highly-customized Land Rover Defenders that you’re about to see. Charles Fawcett, the owner of Britain’s Twisted tells us that the goal is not to change the Land Rovers that they modify, but rather to improve exactly what they do. It’s no wonder, then, that the engine of choice for these top-notch vehicles is the 6.2 liter LS3 engine.
Lower trim options include Ford’s 3.2 liter diesel engine, the same one you’ll find under the hood of a 2015 Ford Ranger. While a diesel Defender would be cool, we think a Defender with a Corvette LS3 engine is even cooler. As we briefly mentioned, Twisted isn’t only focused on making the Land Rovers faster, but a better experience for the driver all-around while staying true the vehicle itself. This includes everything from the brake calipers to the interior, check it all out in the video below.
