Mohammed Al Fayyad To Head GM Middle East Customer Care & Aftersales

General Motors has announced that Mohammed Al Fayyad has been appointed to the role of Director – Customer Care and Aftersales for the Middle East region.

In his new role, Al Fayyad will be responsible for leading all aspects of the Customer Care and Aftersales business, including vehicle servicing, customer service and support, wholesale parts, locally-made batteries, supply chain logistics, and vehicle parts warehouse operations. The automaker considers the Customer Care and Aftersales function as a vital part of its business and a major contributor to its performance.

“Driving customer satisfaction is at the core of what this team does, whether its ensuring customers receive a world class experience from their dealer when they have their vehicle serviced, through to making sure that car parts are delivered promptly so that customers can spent more time on the road and less time waiting for replacement parts and repairs,” said Mario Spangenberg, President and Managing Director for GM Africa and Middle East Operations.

Al Fayyad brings 10 years GM Middle East experience to role, having held leadership positions in sales, aftersales, public relations and training over the last ten years with GM Middle East. He most recently served as the Regional Communications and Public Relations Manager at GM Middle East.

“With the large scope and critical importance of this function, we needed to ensure we had a strong leader in place. Mohammed’s expertise, exacting business acumen and passion will be essential in leading the work of this already very successful team,” added Spangenberg.
