The latest episode has Farah tackling a 580 wheel-horsepower C6 Corvette Z06. And it’s the owner’s daily driver, too.
Besides the usual pulls, and commentating on cornering and power, the real surprise is how affordable the C6 Z06 has become since the introduction of the C7 Corvette Stingray. Sure, the C7 Corvette is a performance bombshell for the price, but the C6 Corvette Z06 can provide nearly as much bang for the buck.
In fact, the owner says he paid $37,000 for the car with under 50,000 miles on the odometer. A performance steal if we’ve ever heard of one. The owner says he has thoroughly modified this C6 Z06, though. Custom headers, and a special cam have been outfitted, and cornering abilities have been enhanced with local performance parts. His goal was to retain the lifestyle of a daily driver, but make sure it has plenty of extra oomph. From the looks of it, he has succeeded.
