GMC has just taken the wraps off of its 2016 Sierra, debuting with a revised front end and a bountiful amount of LEDs. They’ve also uploaded a new video highlighting the design of the 2016 Sierra, giving us a look at the 2016 Sierra Denali, All Terrain and SLT models.
Each truck benefits from the same stylistic enhancements, with a gaudier front grille reserved for the Denali trim. The All Terrain seems to ditch the silver and chrome accents for more subdued trim pieces and the SLT gains a barred design, rather than the interwoven look of the Denali.
The video takes place at the Milford Proving grounds, as the stylistic footage clearly highlights the precision and detail gone into the 2016 GMC Sierra refresh, including the new “C” shaped LED lights found in the head and taillights.
GMC has not released any information on the mechanical side of things, but says to stay tuned in the coming months. In the meantime check out the footage yourself below.
I’m torn on the Sierra the silverado is a huge improvement but the Sierra looks a bit too wide and low, I don’t know if it’s just me. By no means am I saying it looks bad, I’m just saying the silverado clearly made the huge jump with the Sierra taking the baby step
They’ve finally given the Sierra some HID headlights! Now it’s a luxury pickup in the fullest sense!
Definitely love the look of the new Sierra!
I think those LED headlights.
What is the green vehicle shown after the taillight shot?
