Could The 2015 Chevrolet Equinox Be A Hidden Track Star?

The 2015 Chevrolet Equinox wouldn’t be the first car to come to mind when thinking of a fun track car. Yet the hosts of The Fast Lane, Emme and Nathan, seem to be having a great time taking the midsize crossover for a ride around the track, but in a way you probably aren’t used to seeing.
While driving any car backwards through a track would heighten the excitement, it certainly wouldn’t be something that many found easy. According to Nathan, though, the new Equinox makes going backwards almost as easy as going forward, an important factor for a larger passenger vehicle.
So, the Chevrolet Equinox isn’t necessarily geared for the track, but nevertheless. The 2.4 liter four-cylinder from GM is the same motor Emme and Nathan use in their custom baja Bug, and it’s a newer version of the engine used in the Chevrolet Cobalt Sport model. We’ll take these lesser known similarities as evidence of the Equinox’s versatility. We’re sure the 2016 Chevrolet Equinox is equally capable of performing the driving feat, as well.

What, have they nothing better to do?
The Chevy Equinox may not be a “hidden track star” but it was a “hidden gem” before 2010, since now it is GM’s second best selling vehicle after the Silverado, and a excellent vehicle, made in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada. I know personally because I have a 2009 Equinox.
couldn’t agree with more! this is great family/ personal use vehicle. I am on my 4th , 05 ls awd, 07 lt awd, 2011 v6 lt awd and my 13 is an LT2 awd , 4 cylinder .it has all the options , remote start heated seats , sunroof and nav. It now have over 150,000 km and is as tight as the day I drove it off the lot. power is good and the mileage is as good as it gets in real life for this class. The new model in 2017 has some big shoes to fill. Anyone looking for an economical, reliable , but quiet and comfortable crossover should definitely check it out.
