The guys at Leif’s Garage completely transformed a stock 2012 Chevrolet Camaro into the intimidating mean-machine that you may, or may not, have seen at SEMA 2014. And it’s affectionately known as “Mad Max.” But, not a movie car from the blockbuster bearing the same name.
Pictures of the vehicle alone are evidence of the time and money that went into this build, which was all documented by the garage on the shop’s website. They completely overhauled this fifth-gen Camaro, here’s just a portion of the parts and modifications that were done;
- 495 Big Block Engine
- Turbo 400 Transmission
- Custom full roll cage
- Modified fire wall and floor
- Custo 24 inch, 3-piece Asanti wheels
- Cobra Misanos seats
- Ford 9-inch Rear
Other touches include a ZL1 facelift, and a massive blower on top of the big block that you really can’t miss. And while the flat black finish doesn’t go well with everything, it’s very fitting for this beastly Camaro.
