Well 2 models out of 6 are carrying the weight . It is amazing the SRX continues to sell as well as it is . It came out in ’09 as a ’10 model and other than some techy stuff and new grills in ’13 ( and CUE ) , its basically the same ,no sheet metal changes . For sure the bread and butter for Cadillac . They are always going to need such a vehicle , these are the SUV’s that average Joe American can afford . And it puts money in the bank . Which is completely the opposite of where Johan wants to take the division . You can still build your S-Class fighter , but dont forget about middle America . Its just like the American economy , consumer spending is what drives growth and GDP . So lets hope the new XT5 is still affordable for the upper-middle class , it just may be the vehicle that will put money in the bank so they can play withe the big boys with ultra luxury cars .
