And Now, The Preliminary Specifications Of The 2016 Buick Cascada

  1. Put the Volt power train in the Cascada and it will be a seller in California.

    1. “Put the Volt powertrain in the Cascada”. Sure, and add another 800 pounds to its already obese curb weight.

  6. I’m sorry, but the Cascada does absolutely nothing for me. I can appreciate Buick’s intent with this car and the potential it holds for the brand as a whole, but the styling, powertain and tech is quite underwhelming; even compared to its competitors. I am, however, curious about how it handles.

  7. Can gm
Authority confirm whether the Cascada we see in the pictures is what will be sold or will they add Buick styling cues? Looks like a HyundAi or Chrysler

  8. As with almost all GM designs it’s too big abd too high in the back quarters – Makes the back wheels look tiny.

  9. I was expecting this car to be one of the lightest in Buicks arsenal not one of the heaviest. I was expecting Chevy cruze weights not the old current gen camaro v6 weight.

    1. A convertible will always be heavier than its sedan counterpart, since the roof is not there to hold the car together. The floor has to be strengthened to reach the stability.

  10. Needs a 300hp plus engin, hardtop convertible and all wheel drive. Compete with BMW 335 convertible.
