1967 Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car Is 1 Of 5: eBay Find
Sponsored Links
We doubt this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car still has that new car smell, but it sure still does have that new car look. What makes a minty fresh classic even better? Rarity, and this Camaro is pretty rare, a 1 of 5 of its kind actually. The seller refers to it as, “[one of] the most sought after pace cars ever made.”
The mileage is further evidence of just how immaculate this collectable Chevrolet really is, with just 1000 miles on the numbers-matching L78 396 ci V8 rated at 375 horsepower and manual 4-speed transmission. While we would love to utilize all those ponies, this car will most likely remain on display or in storage.
While the thought of a car being kept in captivity for all of its life saddens most of us, we can admit we wouldn’t mind taking a few minutes each day, maybe even an hour, to just sit and marvel at its beauty. If we had $270,000 for a piece of art, that is. If we did have that much money, though, we’d probably opt to hold out for a 2016 Corvette, or perhaps a 2016 Cadillac CTS-V, maybe even both.

Hey Francisco….see you are a Penn Stater! I was too from ’79-’83, and I had the same color car, stripe and interior etc with just a 327/300 hp (column automatic, no console????) that I ran at Dear Old State. My family had a Chevy store, and we were trading muscle cars for pennies on the dollar with the gas lines and insurance problems at the time. My first car was a ’65 Malibu SS convertible with a 283 ci, in Red with Black interior. In the winter I drove a ’69 Chevelle in gold with a black vinyl top. The real cool kids were driving Trans Ams and Formulas. Of course, the baby seats came and the cars went. If I had one of those cars today, I’d be elated…..
