This Head Turning 2015 Chevrolet Silverado HD Is Known As The “Recluse”

A 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Dually is one fine looking truck, but the “Recluse” Silverado presented by KEG Media is simply another animal. In fact, it’s more of a spider, and there are three main similarities between this truck and the species it was named after.

The first may just be coincidental, and that’s the light setup on the front-end. It features two lateral retrofitted headlights and a median LED light from OLB. This compares to the unique arrangement of the spider’s eyes which are set up in the same way. Most spiders have six eyes split up into pairs, but we’ll cut the biology lesson short and get back to what’s important.

The second similarity between the brown spider and the Recluse is the beautiful brown color of the truck. The truck is actually vinyl wrapped in a color called Chocolate Brown Metallic with a matte finish, and this job was done by EuroWraps over in Colorado. You’ll notice the color isn’t the only difference on this Silverado, body work was done to extend the front fenders by 3.5 inches, and only sheet metal was used.

Lastly, both the truck and spider hail from and reside in the United States. KEG did a great job getting this thing ready for SEMA, and there’s plenty more we could say about the Recluse; the 8 inch lift kit, the custom grille, the 2-piece powder coated wheels, but we’ll just let you watch the video below.

Be sure to let us know what you thought of the Recluse in the comments section.
