The Skinny On Round 7 Of The Cadillac Challenge In Sonoma

A hoard of Cadillac CTS-Vs recently descended on the the sunlit Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA for the seventh round of the Cadillac Challenge. As you can see in the brief race recap below, a few non-OEM competitors were also peppered into the mix for good measure.

And while we love V-on-V action, it’s also nice to see other makes and models get in on the fun, too. The action was interspersed with newer metal like the Mclaren 12C and Nissan 350Z, while a lone Shelby Cobra (most likely a replica) also took to the track. A couple of Audis and BMWs were also thrown in for good measure.

We’d like to tip our caps to Scott Anderson (CTS-V Coupe), Barry McGee, (CTS-V Coupe) and Richard Caleel (CTS-V sedan) for winning the C1, C2 and C3 classes, respectively.

The eighth round of the Cadillac Challenge will take place June 27-28th at Laguna Seca, while the penultimate race of the season gets under way September 20th at Buttonwillow Raceway.

Meanwhile, check out the highlights from round 7 in the video. Once you’re done you can also catch up on all the action from round 6 right here.
