Optima’s Search For The Ultimate Street Car Stops At NCM Motorsports Park: Video

The National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, KA played host to the Optima Batteries Search for The Ultimate Street Car earlier this month, the third of eight races that culminates in the 2015 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in November.

The competition sees an assortment of vehicles compete in a variety of different events, from Autocross to a road course, and only the best of the best get an invitation to Vegas. With both an Autocross course and a road course near its grounds, the NCM was a natural choice for the 2015 schedule.

The event featured four different classes of vehicles and everything from Corvettes and Camaros to Ford Mustangs and Nissan 350Zs took part in the action.

The next stop on the 2015 OUSCI Schedule is this weekend at the Michigan International Speedway (June 20-21), then the action moves to North Carolina for a stop at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on July 25-26.

Interested in showing off your driving skills? You can register for a spot in the Optima Search by heading to driveusca.com. Win a few races and you might just get an invitation to SEMA 2015 and a spot in the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitional. Plus, all qualifying events are filmed for national TV so all your friends and family can revel in your triumphs…. and failures.
