The National Corvette Museum Skydome is another few steps closer to being completed for its reopening next month. We know you’re excited if you love Corvettes as much as we do, and how could you not?
The steel structure for the permanent “dog house” entrance has been assembled, with drain pipes and sidewalk to the entrance also put in place. This will be the entrance that is used to get vehicles in and out of the Skydome.
Further progression includes a color choice for the siding of the Skydome, which will be a Corvette Red that matches it up with the rest of the museum. The Skydome’s original color was yellow, but due to its age matching this color is nearly impossible. And we couldn’t forget to mention that the spire is fully complete!
After some final touches, the Skydome will be back and even better than before, so it seems. We can’t wait to see the final presentation.
