Lingenfelter And RideTech Sponsoring Bloomington Gold Autocross

Autocross is a gateway to motorsports. Being low risk, and high in fun factor, any novice driver can jump in their car, with a helmet of course, and lay down their quickest times in friendly competition. That’s why Bloomington Gold is proud to announce Lingenfelter Performance Engineering and RideTech will sponsor autocross at the upcoming Bloomington Gold event.

Bloomington Gold prides itself on being “the Corvette show where you go to play,” and the addition of LPE and RideTech autocross only adds to their statement. And with LPE performance bits for your Corvette, seconds should be shaved off of autocross laps with ease.

“Lingenfelter is dedicated to developing a continually-expanding line of engine components for Corvette owners who want to achieve maximum performance” said Ken Lingenfelter, owner, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.

“RideTech wants to help Corvette enthusiasts have some real fun with their cars, to drive them as they were designed to be driven. Partnering with Corvette market leader Lingenfelter Performance to bring an event like this to the most prestigious Corvette show in the world was a natural,” said RideTech president Bret Voelkel.

Participation isn’t only limited to Corvette owners, though. LPE is offering ride-alongs over three days in Lingenfelter-powered Corvettes.

This isn’t the first time LPE and RideTech have combined forces. If you’ll recall, the 48-hour Corvette build came to life with an LPE 650 hp LS7 crate engine, with RideTech providing the shop space for the project.

The 2015 Bloomington Gold will take place Thursday, June 25 through Saturday, June 27, and attendees will be able to enjoy the entire Indianapolis Motor Speedway with laps of the speedway and more. Don’t forget, the National Corvette Museum also invites owners to convoy out to the can’t-miss event, too.
