Hop In For A Ride In A Vauxhall Corsa VXR Hillclimb Run: Video

Hillclimb events are a tough variant to master. The driver is at a constant disadvantage with no direct sight as to what type of corner is coming next. It requires skill, patience and eagle eyes.
Luckily if you’re not brave enough to get behind the wheel for this type of motorsport, we have a first-person experience for you to live vicariously through. The run takes place at Loton Park during the British Leaders Championship. The event was a multi-car hillclimb, and the driver of this Vauxhall Corsa VXR decided to document their run for all to see.
As you can hear, it’s quite a bit of first and second gear shifting, and the driver wrings out everything the Corsa VXR has, ensuring utmost speed upon exiting those technical corners. We’re no hillclimb experts, but it seems like a clean, quick run from our eyes.
Check out the brief video below for some hillclimb action of your own.
