Hear The LT1 V8 Roar In The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro: Video

While the V6 and turbo-four variants of Camaro Six lean more towards sport car, there’s no denying the might of the LT1 6.2-liter V8 makes for a much more proper pony car scenario. Today, we have the sounds that will keep five-oh Coyotes up at night.
The uploader of the video states they do not own the video, but stumbled upon the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro revving on Facebook. We can see the plates clearly state this is a manufacturer car and not a vehicle for personal use, so someone has been having fun with a pre-production 2016 Camaro.
The video is quite literally a few rev shots, but it’s the first raw clip in the wild we’ve seen and heard. And it sounds gnarly. The tone is absolutely guttural for a stock sound. The sixth-generation Camaro should have no problem identifying its presence. And wait until the aftermarket get its hands on the car. It’s a good time to be an auto enthusiast.

WOW, sounds like someone at GM took a page from Ford and convinced GM to actually acoustically tune the LT1’s rumble for the Camaro.
Sounds GOOD; really good.
Maybe Ford should take a page from Chevy and learn how to win a race
I am presently at Ford in Louisville LAP
WOW!! And this isn’t even the dual mode exhaust system!! Reminds me of the revving engine at the beginning of the Beach Boys’ song “409”.
