According to the creative minds behind the upcoming film “Entourage,” Cadillac approached producers offering them their full stable of exclusive cars. That included the one-off Cadillac Ciel concept, which debuted at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
Naturally, it only seems fitting the crew from entourage prowl the streets of Hollywood and its surrounding star-studded landmarks in something as eye catching as the Cadillac Ciel. Cadillac has provided a behind-the-scenes look at how the Ciel concept was used, and why it fits so well with what the creative team wanted to portray.
If you want our two cents, it’s damn good marketing. Product placement is hard to pull off without looking desperate, but when it fits, it fits. This is a class act on behalf of Cadillac, so bravo. Give the individual who reached out a pay raise, GM.
Anyways, the cast and crew were delighted to be behind the wheel of a car that exists nowhere else. They felt when Cadillac offered up such a rare beaut’, they couldn’t go home without it. And the Ciel convertible marvelously mimics the tone “Entourage” aims to capture.
