Chevy Repurposes First-Gen Cruze As ‘Cruze Limited’ For Fleet Customers

As GM prepares the unleash the all-new, D2XX-platformed 2016 Chevrolet Cruze in select global markets, it is also planning to continue selling the first-generation Cruze sedan to fleet customers in the United States for the 2016 model year. The vehicle will be given the name of Cruze Limited.
In preparing the compact sedan to take on fleet-only duty, GM is making the following RPO-level changes:
- Deleting the Cruze diesel model
- Adding four LPO (dealer-installed) options, including:
- Interior trim package
- Chrome appearance package that includes:
- Chrome appearance package for the lower body-side
- 17-inch chrome wheels
- Chrome door handles
- Chrome door handles
- Wheel locks
In addition, the 2016 Chevy Cruze Limited swaps the 6-month OnStar Directions and Connections trial for the new 6-month trial of the Guidance plan, consistent with the new OnStar subscription plan structure.

- (UE1) OnStar Directions and Connections plan for 6 months, changes to Guidance plan included for 6 months (trial excludes Hands-Free Calling minutes)

Based on the story and comments on the present one going 50% fleet now some folks did not catch on. I guess they missed the stories on the new Cruze too?
