Chevrolet Packing A Surprise For 2015 Goodwood Festival Of Speed: Video

Chevrolet has already made it clear they are planning quite the takeover of this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK. The brand plans on ushering in Corvette mania, as this will be the first time the 2015 C7 Corvette Z06 graces the country.
Not only will the 2015 C7 Z06 participate in the legendary Goodwood Hillclimb, but an absolute plethora of Corvette power will be on display at the Chevrolet Cafe throughout the entire event. That includes the Corvette C7.R, which recently brought home a savory win at 24 Hours of Le Mans.
But, Chevrolet has a surprise ready for the good (great?) folks of Goodwood. The brand has dropped a brief teaser video, where we hear a vehicle revving as it is packaged up from Detroit, Michigan, and shipped off to the UK. The surprise will be revealed June 26, with Dan Ammann, President GM and Alan Batey, Global Chevrolet Brand Chief there to unveil it.
If you plan on attending Goodwood this year, it should be quite the event, with fellow GM brand Vauxhall bringing all of its VXR goodies out to play alongside the Chevrolet display. The Goodwood Festival of Speed runs from June 26 to June 28, with the Moving Motor Show scheduled for June 25.

How will a C7.R be there? Do they have a show car?
6 Hours of the Glen is June 28 and Corvette Racing is already borrowing the Larbre Competition car to fill in for the wrecked #64. Unless they threw some new body panels on the wrecked car and are going to leave it as a static display, I don’t know how one will be there.
you mean the wrecked #63*. I believe they mean the C7.R replica that people can buy from the factory will be there. Not the actual race car. I could be wrong though.
I’m gonna guess right hand drive and the official Nurburgring time.
It will be a show car or one of last years cars with decal changes I would guess. It will not be the winning car as it will be on track as you pointed out.
No right hand drive but the Camaro will appear. The sound appears to be a V6? as it does not have the LT rumble in the video at least.
Might get the Z06 lap time.
