Carlex Decks Out The C6 Corvette With New Interior And Exterior Kit

The C6 Corvette is a capable car. It’s been largely overshadowed by the C7 Corvette Stingray, but, still, it’s a pretty inexpensive way to step into small-block V8 power. If anything, the interior receives the lowest marks from us as looking a tad bland.
Enter the Carlex C6 Corvette Yellow Line. The interior masterminds have completely looked over the entire interior for a more premium feel. A tidal wave of black alcantara is awash throughout the cabin, while the black leather seats sporty yellow-contrasted leather sticking, with the same alcantara inserts.
Unfortunately, Carlex didn’t swap out the old GM rental-car steering wheel, which graced the first portion of production C6 Corvettes. Still, this style definitely heightens the interior to new levels.
There’s also carbon fiber trim added for good measure, replacing the cheaper plastic look from the C6 Corvette.
Outside, Carlex has also designed a new body kit for the C6 Corvette Yellow Line to radically change the front fascia styling. Motorward says the C6 Corvette Yellow Line also produces 1,100 hp, so we’re thinking that gaping front fascia is part of the formula.
