May 2015 Cadillac sales grew 31 percent year-over-year in the Middle East, representing the brand’s best May sales in history in the region. To note, GM Middle East has historically not provided specific sales numbers, reporting only percent growth figures.
“2015 has so far been a very good year for Cadillac in the Middle East”, said Felix Weller, Sales and Marketing Director for Cadillac Middle East. “This is our best May yet due to our high performing markets. For instance, we had 50% year on year growth in Saudi Arabia, 66% in the UAE and 69% in Qatar.”
Cadillac has seen sales grow every month in 2015, with the Escalade and Escalade ESV seeing “consistent strong demand.”
“Cadillac’s commitment to offer clients in the Middle East an alternative premium experience is seeing a lot more people acting on their instincts and discovering Cadillac for themselves. It’s passion that is driving us, and we are very happy that more and more people share that passion which is fueling Cadillac’s renaissance,” he added.
By comparison, year-to-date Cadillac sales in the U.S. are down slightly to 67,384 units.

Percentages are good.
Be interesting to see what Cadillac’s “specific sales numbers” are, though.
And what the sticker price looks like once these guys are done outfitting them. (Not that a Saudi Prince is worried about sticker price)…

Right, we would love to see the actual sales figures as well. But it’s good to see sales growing nonetheless.
