Ride With Andy Pilgrim As He Drives A 2016 Cadillac ATS-V Around Belle Isle’s Street Course: Video

Last year, our friend and photographer Steven Pham managed to get himself a ride-along with Cadillac Racing’s Andy Pilgrim in the CTS-V.R racecar around Detroit’s Belle Isle park. It was obvious he was having the time of his life in his video of the ride-along, so he returned to Belle Isle this year in hopes of catching another ride with Pilgrim.

This time around Pilgrim was giving hot laps in the 2016 ATS-V road car. It may be no CTS-V.R, but with a 455 horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 and an eight-speed automatic transmission, it’s not a bad choice for some hot laps of Belle Isle at all.

This time around Pham hopped in the back seat of the ATS-V to film his ride along. The leather seats didn’t do the best job of holding him in place through Belle Isle’s fast corners, so the video is a bit bumpy, but we think you’ll find he did a pretty good job of holding the camera still anyways.
