Guy Smashes Chevrolet Silverado Through His House On Purpose

Sometimes you just need to take a drive. And sometimes you need to renovate your house. A man from Cowetta Country, Geogia, thought he’d do both at the same time.

For whatever reason, the man decided it was about time he drove his old Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab right through his own home. On purpose.

Luckily, no one was hurt (except for the house and the Silverado, of course).

What spurred him to destroy half of his house? There’s obviously no good reason, but we’ve managed piece together four reasons he’s given so far, all of them ridiculous:

1) “I don’t know, it was just one of them’ spur of the moment crazy things,” he told WGCL in Atlanta.

2) He told the Times-Herald.com he was trying to sell his house but couldn’t find any takers. This led him to destroy half the house, apparently.

3) Jones told a CBS Reporter that a phone call from his wife caused it.

4) The best reason of all. Jones claimed he did it to occupy his time with the repairs. Oh, and he apparently told police he did it because the room needed more air.

… Yeah.

A far-too-tall Ontarian who likes to focus on the business end of the auto industry, in part because he's too tall to safely swap cogs in a Corvette Stingray.
