Girl On Girl Action: Tuned Cadillac CTS-V Takes On Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06

Nothing gets our attention like a little sibling rivalry, particularly when it involves a Cadillac CTS-V and a Corvette C7 Z06 going wheel-to-wheel down the drag strip.
These two factory-supercharged beasts recently lined up on the strip at Street Car Takeover St. Louis, and the end result is a lot closer than you think.
A big part of that comes down to the second-gen CTS-V, which puts out 610 hp on the dyno thanks to new Lingenfelter pulleys, stage 2 cam, headers, plus a methanol injection control kit. It’s also worth noting that power output might be conservative, as the methanol control kit wasn’t setup properly during the dyno run.
In the other corner we have a stock Corvette C7 Z06 with a supercharged 6.2L LT4 engine producing 650 hp and 650lb-ft of torque. At first glance it seems like the owner of the Z06 doesn’t know all that much about her vehicle, but we have a feeling she’s playing up the, “gee, I dunno” for the camera just a little bit.
It’s an interesting race made slightly more interesting by the fact that women pilot both vehicles, which is sadly a rare thing. And while it’s not something you see everyday, it’s great to see these ladies getting in on the action.
With that in mind, place your bets and hit play.
