Get Retro: 2004 C5 Corvette Pair Commemorates 1953 Corvette And 1954 Nomad

Retro was all the rage in the early 2000s. We encountered a slew of retro influenced automobiles during this time, including the Ford Mustang, Volkswagen New Beetle and more. The C5 Corvette wasn’t one of those retro inspired vehicles, but Advanced Automotive Technologies decided the 2004 Corvette needed to join the retro-infused party.

Advanced Automotive Technologies didn’t just create one vehicle, though, They payed homage to the original C1 Corvette and Chevrolet Nomad. With a 2004 C5 Corvette as the donor vehicle, the company went to work to create a modern day interpretation with plenty of classic nods to the original vehicles. The C1 Corvette retro-mod is a looker in its own right, but we happen to think the 1954 Chevrolet Nomad inspired Corvette is even better looking, with a gorgeous, sleek wagon profile.

Though, we don’t agree with the addition of scissor doors on the 1954 Nomad throwback, it is a show car after all. And it can be a tad flashy.

Lucky for you, dear reader, both of these vehicle are currently for sale and posted to eBay for a cool $185,000. A steal considering the seller would like over $200,000 if both vehicles were purchased separately. The seller also states there is no rust to be found, and they are as clean as can be.

Either car would be a great conversation piece anywhere you take it, but our eye is on that Nomad wagon.
