General Motors has deep ties in supporting U.S. military personnel, current and former. Today, GM has announced through the month of May and June all active, reserve, retired and veteran military will be eligible for the GM Military Discount on select Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles.
The popular program makes a return after more than 40,000 personnel took advantage of the appreciation promotion last year, spanning every branch of the military, and extending the offer to spouses.
“GM has supported the U.S. military for 100 years and we continue to be their strong allies,” said Steve Hill, GM vice president of U.S. sales and service. “This discount is just one way we’re thanking the men and women who’ve served our country.”
This time around, GM has extended the discount window an extra month to offer great discounts, and may be combined with other current incentives being offered.
The discount is only one of many ways GM supports military personnel, which also includes training opportunities for those returning from service, and philanthropic support for organizations dedicated to serving those who sacrificed so much.
