The problem with being the new kid on the block is you may be subjected to some teasing or a some few practical jokes. One of IndyCar’s newest rookies, Sage Karam, learned that the hard way during Indy 500 practice earlier this week when Tony Kanaan offered to take his Chevrolet Camaro to get detailed.
Instead of having the car cleaned, Kanaan, Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti had Karam’s Camaro wrapped in a hot pink vinyl. It doesn’t stop there, though, they also added ‘Honk if You’re Sexy’ and ‘Karamo’ decals to the front and rear windows, you know, for extra embarrassment.
It seems like Kanaan is quite the jokester, as Karam said he “knew” he shouldn’t have ever handed the keys to his car over the Brazilian Indy veteran. At least you know now, Sage, it’s just too bad it took this much for you to learn not to trust some of your IndyCar peers.
