Finally, the three-row Buick Enclave along with the rest of the 2016 Buick lineup will now include OnStar 4G LTE Connectivity, and each vehicle will come with a three-month/three-gigabyte data trial. This includes a built-in Wi-Fi hot spot, which is on whenever the vehicle is on.
Today nearly everyone has a smart phone, even infants (so it seems). So having the ability to stay connected while you travel is a convenience many would want in their vehicle. As you may know, 4G LTE is the most current and fastest mobile data network. It’s actually 100 times faster than the previous generation of OnStar hardware, which offers better coverage than smartphones in the same network.
We think this addition will go along nicely with Buick’s IntelliLink infotainment system, a standard feature on all Enclave models. As GM states, the color touch radio enhances the driving experience with a higher level of wireless connectivity while also building on the safety on security of OnStar. To make it all even sweeter, GM is giving new-car buyers six months of OnStar Directions and Connections. This allows users to take advantage of features such as OnStar’s RemoteLink Mobile App.
Convenient, innovative, and stylish. Yeah, we’re really liking the new Buicks.
