Chevrolet has published the preliminary specifications of the all-new 2016 Camaro it unveiled yesterday. The specs aren’t entirely complete, as they’re missing details such as fuel economy, most of the interior measurements, and curb weight. Nevertheless, they still provide a healthy idea of how the new Camaro looks on paper. So, have at it.

in powertrain the 6.2 lt1 valvetrain is listed as dohc, it should be ohv
Thanks aaron. Fixed.
curb weight ?!?!?
Read the first paragraph.
455hp
*We both didn’t read.
Sure starting to look like an Impala.
Turbo 4 has more torque at a much lower RPM than the V6. Can’t wait to see performance figures.
MPG for each?
I was really hoping the Camaro shared the wheelbase with the CTS.
The 2.3 Ecoboost Mustang have 310hp, more power.
Yeh..but hoo wants a 4 cyl? It should be a standard entry level base secretaries car.
If Ford is smart they will make there ecoboost the base entry level and up the V6 to compete with the Camaro. Making a 4 banger the mid model was a stupid decision on Fords part. Lee Iacoca could tell you that.
What rear axles do they come with? 2015 with the V6 manual trans comes with a limited slip. Is his the same for the 2016?
It’s turboed and if it’s anything like the 2.0l ecotecs it will be cheap to get 400 hp and torque. But being a camero I’m hoping for better built parts.
