1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Bodied Dragster Stretches The Meaning Of What A Camaro Is: Video

Promods take dragsters to a whole different territory. This isn’t just building up a 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. This is gutting said Camaro Z/28, replacing it with something stupid-fast and slapping the body back on. And we like that.

Speed Society picked up on this insane 1970 Camaro Z/28 build making a few test hits before it’s finally ready for race day. And if the tests are anything to go by, this 1970 Camaro dragster going to be a monster.

The 1970 Camaro build benefits from twin Precision 88mm turbos, feeding the Jasiek Racing Engine. CFE racing heads are also part of the formula here. The 1970 Camaro sounds superb upon firing it up, and we wish we were able to see a full pass down the strip instead of tests. But, patience is a virtue as they say.

We’re sure once this 1970 Camaro dragster is ready to report for duty it will be something to really marvel at, and we hope the rest of the test and tune process goes quickly. Mostly because we want to see more. Check it out for yourself down below.
