Hennessey 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible Dials Itself In: Video

As noted before, Hennessey Performance Engineering is currently in the process of developing a ridiculously fast Z06 tuning program, capable of offering as much as 1,000 horsepower to customers wealthy and crazy enough to ask for it. And the company hasn’t been shy about showing off its 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible that doubles as its development vehicle.
When one YouTube commenter sarcastically noted, “Nothing screams performance like a convertible,” the company quickly shot back saying, “anything can scream performance if it’s loud enough, or fast enough, or both.”
That, ladies and gents, is what we like to hear.
While get a very brief taste of the ‘Arctic White’ convertible in the video below, it’s clear HPE isn’t too keen on sharing any of the major details just yet, though we do already know that a stock 2015 Corvette Z06 sends around 570 horsepower from the ground based on previous dyno videos.
With that, we’ll leave you with one more word from Hennessey’s YouTube channel, “Power is up significantly. However, we do not want to share our final dyno numbers until the development is completed. Stay tuned.”
