If you can’t wait to get your hands on the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and its Omega-platform based goodness, you may want to get yourself to Palm Beach, Florida for the upcoming Barrett-Jackson auction.
That’s correct, Barrett-Jackson will see the first production 2016 CT6 sold under its gavel on April 17th, with all proceeds from the auction going to The Karmanos Cancer Institute.
The winning bidder will receive a letter of authenticity for the 2016 CT6 stating it is indeed the first production vehicle of its kind, and should make any Cadillac enthusiast a happy guy or gal. Barrett-Jackson doesn’t list the specifications the particular CT6 will be auctioned with, but hopefully Cadillac and Barrett-Jackson send it off with new 400 hp 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine.
For the rest of us, plans to bring the 2016 CT6 to market have the car arriving later this year, and we expect a plug-in variation of the new CT6 to be shown at the Shanghai Motor Show this month.
A trip to Palm Beach, a new state-of-the-art Cadillac and helping a good cause. This sounds like our kind of vacation.
