What would happen if you were to combine a nimble Ford Mustang fox body notchback with a turbocharged LS1 V8 that’s tried-and-true? Well, it’s been done (more than once), and what resulted is one neck-breaking Mustang that is sure to grab a lot of attention. Chances are most people will either love it or hate it. From our perspective, we don’t have anything against the frankenstein build, to each their own as one would say. While we may not have the answers for those asking, “but why would you do such a thing?” we do have this to say in reply, “why not?”
Though the overall consensus of the car may be debated, one thing is for sure, it’s fast. With a trap speed of over 155 MPH, this Mustang does the quarter mile in just over eight seconds, 8.128 to be exact. The video below shows how the LS1-powered Mustang performed at the last Quick 30 event hosted by Texas Speed Syndicate. We found it to be pretty impressive, and we would really like to hear your replies after you’ve watched the video.
