C7 Corvette owners everywhere, rejoice! Borla Performance Exhaust has a slew upgrades for your Corvette coming soon, including; T304 stainless steel headers and x-pipes for both street and race use, three exhaust tip styles, a sharp looking rear diffuser, as well as a two exhaust systems for C7 Corvettes with the dual-mode performance exhaust (NPP) option.
The two different options Borla has for the exhaust are the Touring S-Type and the Touring ATAK systems. The S-Type system features a straight-through core to consistently produce a throaty rumble, while the ATAK system, short for acoustically-tuned applied kinetics, uses varying perforation patterns, and different cores in order to produce a “crisp, zero-distortion all-out muscular roar,” as Borla puts it.
Borda offers three options when it comes to the x-pipes for the C7. The street-legal x-pipe simply clamps behind the factory catalytic converters, while the race ‘with cats’ x-pipe utilizes high-flow catalytic converters for racers wanting to keep the check engine light off as well as mitigate the smell of the exhaust fumes. Lastly the ‘cat-delete’ x-pipes, which were designed by Borla with the needs of professional are teams in mind. Take a look at the video below to catch a glimpse of some of these exhaust components in-action.

Borla is always coming out with some new performance stuff exhaust wise but the price is big and you really don’t get anything different other than a better sounding exhaust. But I suppose if you’ve got those thousands of bux floating around burning a hole in your wallet what the heck. For the average Vette owner I think their bux will remain in their wallets, LOL.
